Who we are & what this is

What The Ring Record is

The Ring Record is a digital encyclopedia of professional boxing — a carefully compiled archive of fight results, fighter records, title lineages, venues, officials and the events that make up the sport's long history. It draws together historic results reaching back to the bare-knuckle era and keeps pace with the modern game, presented in the spirit of the great printed almanacs that came before it.

Every record is treated as a matter of historical accuracy. We keep professional results separate from amateur, exhibition and unconfirmed bouts, take care never to confuse boxers, venues or officials who share a name, and preserve the historic data rather than tidying it away.

Who runs it

The Ring Record is owned and operated by TFK Data Media Limited. The project is an independent labour of love for the sport and its history — not affiliated with any sanctioning body, promoter or broadcaster.
